  1. China Admirelor Jaal:
    ‘Nets of the Chinese Admiral’,  A book, first of its kind, on travel – journalism in Assam that contains three sections – first section on Kerala, second section on Tibetian  refugees and the third on Indian Muslims, Published by Banalata, Guwahati, 2004.
  2. Swargadopee (Higher than heaven)—2014:
    This novel is based on the life and times of the second martyr from the tea garden communities of Assam—Biju Bauri (Vaishnava) who had made the supreme sacrifice in the freedom struggle of India in 1932. Hailing from Numaligarh tea estate Biju came under influence of Mahatma Gandhi’s thoughts and actions and braving all hardships and oppression jumped headlong in the freedom struggle and played a very important role in organising tea garden and ex tea garden labours for the freedom struggle. The novel explores his life and times, the conditions of existence of tea garden labours. Their arrival in Assam as indentured labourers and the life of isolation, oppression they had to lead. This is the first novel in Assamese based on the life’s and times of leader that emerged from the tea garden communities, and is considered as a pioneering work. It was published by the publication Board of Assam and won the Syed Abdul Malik literary prize awarded by Assam Sahitya Sabha—Golaghat in 2015.
  3. The Sleep Walkers Dreams2016:
    A novel based on the human stories and drama of the insurgency that deals on social, historical, individual human question and dilemmas. Written in English, this book has been published by the famous ‘Speaking Tigers’ the premier printing house of India.
    June, along with Ron and several other insurgents, is fleeing their hideout in Bhutan after an army attack. With them is their injured, unconscious leader who is unlikely to survive the ordeal of their journey towards the Assam border. Miraculously, their leader emerges from his coma and is able to guide them to a cave where he had earlier created a ‘safe house’. For June, the journey is a test of her endurance and dedication. Her memories keep taking her back to the tragic circumstances under which she had become an insurgent. Ron, too, is flooded by his own memories of his boyhood. Dhrubajyoti Borah traces the journey of Ron, June and the other insurgents towards an elusive freedom and an uncertain future.
